Health Club, Hull - Toshiba Installation
Etherington Air Conditioning were asked to provide energy efficient heating and cooling units to the gym area of a recently refurbished health centre in Hull.
The three indoor cassettes were recessed into the new lay in the ceiling grid within the fitness suite. New refrigeration pipework was installed, running in the fitness suite ceiling void supported from the structure. When the pipes exit the building they drop down the external wall to low level connecting to their corresponding outdoor units.
A scaffold tower was required to install the external pipework and the work was done by our own in-house Pasma qualified engineers. Outdoor units were positioned on the rear and side external walls.
We also installed interconnecting control wiring and remote controller cabling.
Toshiba RAV-SM1404UTE Indoor units, and Toshiba RAV-SM1403AT-E Outdoor units were chosen for this project.
The units were chosen for their ease of maitnenance. The innovative air flow control and the new design prevent dust from accumulating around the air outlet of the ceiling. Both the louvre and the grille are easily detachable and washable, and corner pockets in all four panel corners allow convenient access to adjustment controls behind the panel.
