Etherington Air Conditioning Ltd were pleased to install energy efficient air conditioning, ventilation and gas-fired heating to a new 10,000 sq ft retail store at palace grounds shopping development in Hamilton on behalf of Next PLC.
Mitsubishi heat pump air conditions utilising environmentally friendly R407C refigerant were selected to provide a comfortable environment all year round to retail, administration, stock, and staff areas.
Space for the positioning of the outdoor air conditioning plant was at a premium and Etherington Air Conditioning were happy to take on the responsibility for the supply and installation of a purpose-built steel gantry to the rear of the store to accomodate the equipment. 'A VES' heat recovery ventialtion system was installed to provide fresh air and extract air throughout the premises.
Gas-fired warm air heating was provided to heat the loading area of the store along with a gas-fired condensing boiler to feed L.P.H.W over entrance door heaters. The systems were installed and commissioned over a four month period in proud co-operation with Next Shopfitting Department and their nominated shopfitting and electrical contractors.
